A pretty common bird in Japan - although it can be harder than expected to get a good picture, as they flit about quite fast, and tend to stick up higher in the trees. You cand definitely hear them screaming though.
Spotted it from behind first, thought it might be something exciting. But the cheeks are a giveaway.
There were quite a few at the Gyoen, but it was hard to get a nice photo since they were all up in the trees.
