Animals I spotted on a hike in 2025

I met a deer in between Mt Nabewari and Mt Tonodake - so cute!

This year’s animal sightings:

• Deer (Mt Nabewari, Mt Oyama and probably others)
• Raichou (Mt Jonen, Mt Yari, Mt Senjo)
• Marmots (La Palette, Switzerland 🇨🇭)
• A chamois (Grosser Mythen, Switzerland 🇨🇭)
• A big snake on Mt Echigo-komagatake (not pictured 😬)
• I got to see a kamoshika (or Japanese serow) twice but they ran away before I could get a photo 🥲
