Matsue's Fox Shrine: Jozan Inari Jinja

Right behind Shimane’s Matsue Castle is a little shrine complete with hundreds of fox statues. Some are quite fierce-looking, others worse for wear with their faces held together by wire. The ones with their ears worn down look like cute little puppies now. And a few are downright derpy-looking 😂
