Mt Jinba

My first hike of the year was a 15km traverse from Tokyo’s Mt Jinba to Mt Takao. Mt Jinba is home to probably the most sus horse statue I have ever seen (cmon…), but also a fitting hike to start 2026’s Year of the Horse 🐴
Mt Takao as always was super crowded, and I decided to be lazy and take the chairlift down for the first time which was actually quite nice.
