Mt Kintoki and Mt Myojingatake

My second last hike of the year was up Hakone’s Mt Kintoki, and then doing the traverse route across to the neighbouring Mt Myojingatake. Unfortunately Mt Fuji decided he just wanted to show off his midriff today (boo) but better than not being able to see him at all!

A highlight of the hike between Kintoki and Myojingatake is walking a path that cuts through a huge field of sasa plants. Since you’re heading in the opposite direction of Mt Fuji, eventually when you get far enough away and you turn around, you’ll be able to see Mt Kintoki and the peak of Mt Fuji together in the same shot (hypothetically, if there are no clouds 😅)
