Mt Kurobegoro and Mt Yari - Day 1

North Alps hike day 1/3 (17.7km, 1975m gain, 10 hours).

I recently did a 3-day hike in the North Alps. Super beautiful mountains, but I’ll admit the idea of doing 43km in 3 days was also super daunting! Day 1 had us starting at Oritate, and hiking to the peak of Mt Kurobegoro (elevation 2897m) before descending down to the Kurobegoro hut. The hut was super cozy, and I was so exhausted I slept really well that night!
