Three Sisters, Blue Mountains

Sydney feels rather flat in comparison to Japan, which has mountains everywhere. The nearest “mountainy” area is the Blue Mountains, which are about a 90-minute drive or 2+ hours by train from Sydney. One of the main attractios in the area is a rock formation known as the Three Sisters, and it’s a nice day out from Sydney.
When I was here last, I managed to spot a couple of different types of birds:
- A couple of yellow-tailed black cockatoos with what looked like to be a cute juvenile as well
- A female lyrebird who just kept on digging and digging (look at those big feet)
- And an eastern yellow robin
