Shibuya tends to be pretty crowded and chaotic at the best of times, so I’m always on the lookout for places with good food that have more of a quiet vibe. Pizza Slice is one of those stores - although the definition of being “in Shibuya” is stretched a bit as it’s a solid 15 minute walk from the station.

They specialise in New York-style pizza, with huge slices that are as big as your face. Each slice will cost you in the range of 660 - 770 yen, so it’s not super cheap by any means, but you probably will be full with 2 - 3 slices.

I wouldn’t necessarily recommend coming here if you come from a country that does good pizzas already. Growing up in Australia, pizza was considered to be quite a cheap food, while sushi is more expensive, but in Japan I find that those roles are reversed. Of course there is still super expensive sushi here too, don’t get me wrong, but pizza is considered a bit more of a “foreign” food here so there is a bit of a price bump that comes with that. So the price can feel a little high for what you’re getting.
But if you live here, or you’re visiting and maybe you just want to eat some fast food for a change, then this place is pretty good! The vibes are very nice as well.

I think with the long walk from Shibuya station, it’s never been super crowded on any of the times that I’ve visited, so I’ve never had to line up which is a super plus from me.

There’s a couple more branches of Pizza Slice, including one in Harajuku - but I find I like the decor of this Shibuya one more, so I think if you were to visit one, it would be this one.
