Red-crowned crane

We were driving through the town of Tsurui, which literally translates to “the place where cranes are”. The town is known for its large quantities of cranes only in winter so we weren’t expecting on seeing any. So we were super stoked to see them in a field off the road! Unfortunately I only had my iPhone at the time so it’s a photo at max zoom.
